Concrete holding hoppers
Concrete holding hoppers allow one or more charges to be stored near
the place of use.
To optimize the production of concrete, one or more concrete holding hoppers can receive concrete from the travelling bucket so that the bucket can return to the mixer to pick up the next charge.
Multiple concrete holding hoppers also make it possible to mix the colours of the concrete as concrete of different colours can be discharged into separate hoppers.
A chute can be mounted under the travelling bucket, but then operators must be ready to receive the concrete when the travelling bucket arrives.
