Moving weighing belts

A moving weighing belt is a modern and efficient way to both weigh and
transport materials using the same unit.

Moving weighing belts can be supplied with or without high sides (see weighing belts).

When batching while the belt moves slowly forward, materials are distributed along the length of the entire belt. This makes it possible to reduce the height of the sides of the weighing belt. The weighing belt has a large capacity, but the weighing process remains very accurate.

Weighing belts without high sides can be combined with a weigh hopper or a weighing unit in the skip hoist.

The entire unit is hot-dip galvanized, and Haarup manufactures a range of safety devices suitable for all applications.

When using a weighing belt with high sides, the materials for the next charge can be weighed while the skip hoist and mixer finish the current charge. As a result, the cycle time is longer which means that batching time can be increased to achieve even greater accuracy.

The weighing belt is supplied with wearing plates that are easily replaceable and extend the lifetime of the weighing belt.

The weighing belt is suspended from load cells mounted with adjustable spindles making installation and adjustment easy.
